A 60 percent chance of showers for today's outdoors activities is predicted by John Aquino of Murray and Trettel, the Post-Tribune's weather service. The showers will accompany a cold front due to move through the area early this afternoon. The wind will go this afternoon from southwest to northwest at 10 to 15 mph and hold there through Sunday, Aquino reported. Waves will be up to three feet.

Temperatures will hit about 78 degrees near the lake today, a little cooler Sunday and in the low 80s inland, the forcaster said.
