No, Toto, this isn't Kansas. It's Northwest Indiana. But it is the home of the largest "Wizard of Oz" celebration in the nation.
Wait a minute, you're saying. I know the movie. Dorothy. Toto. Auntie Em. It takes place in Kansas, 500 miles to the southwest.
True enough. But when the first of three days of festivities get started Friday, it is an Indiana town that will be transformed into the Land of Oz, not any town in Kansas.
