A sailor found dead Friday at the pier where his ship was docked in Malaga, Spain, has been identified as Jeffrey G. Brown, 21, of Portage, the U.S. Navy confirmed Saturday.
The district office of U.S. Rep. Peter Visclosky, D-Merrillville, was notified Saturday morning of the confirmation. His cause of death was not available.
