William Pelke will not have the support of the rest of his family when he flies to Rome Thursday to speak on behalf of the teen-ager who murdered his grandmother.
Pelke's father, Robert Pelke, said his son is alone in his belief that Gary teen-ager Paula Cooper should not go to the electric chair for murdering Ruth Pelke.
"The majority of the family does not agree with my son," said Robert Pelke during an interview Monday with the Post-Tribune from his home in Florida.
