A Rolls-Royce owned until March by television evangelists Jim and Tammy Bakker will be auctioned during the Auburn-Cord-Duesenberg Festival on Labor Day weekend, officials said Saturday.
The 1953 Rolls-Royce Silver Dawn valued as high as $80,000 was displayed briefly outside the festival museum by Kruse International, a local auction company. The vehicle is not the 1939 Rolls-Royce that had been missing from the PTL Club formerly run by Jim Bakker and that has since turned up at a California restoration shop.
