Movie review
Andrew Tallackson, a senior at Gary's Emerson School for the Visual and Performing Arts, reviews movies targeted to teen-agers.
The last half of "The Lost Boys" delivers more scares than any movie I've seen in years.
This is the kind of horror movie I've been yearning for since "Fright Night" opened two summers ago. It's full of landscapes shrouded with mist, evil monsters lurking in shadows, and an uncanny sense of humor that helps ease the tension of the film's terrifying climax.
It's a shame that the first 45 minutes of "Lost Boys" is such a confusing mess. Director Joel Schumacher is never quite sure ...
