Two construction storage trailers, filled with hundreds of chinchillas raised by owner Richard Wiborg for their valuable pelts, will have to go, the Lake County Board of Zoning Appeals ruled last week.
"We have never allowed two trailers for people and we now have two trailers filled with chinchillas. The next person (who comes before the board) may want an additional trailer on their farm just for chinchillas," said Planning Director Wilbur Cox.
