Don't tell Jack Montgomery the telegraph machine is a thing of the past.
As far as he and the other 300 members of the Grand Chapter of the Morse Telegraph Club are concerned, there will always be a place for that little mechanical ticker.
"Remember, if it weren't for telegraphs there might not be newspapers," Montgomery chided.
Montgomery, a Chicago resident, is executive vice president of the telegraph club which serves Indiana and surrounding states.
