Dear Sir:
I used to live in Gary. My parents moved to Alabama when I was in the third grade. A few months after we moved they separated and I was placed in a foster home.
I am presently serving 10 years in the Alabama prison system. I am due out on parole in 1988. However, I have no one or nowhere to parole to.
I believe I have family or relatives who still live in the great city of Gary. If you could print this letter there's a chance that someone will write me.
