Eric Dickerson, the key to the Indianapolis Colts' new running game, holds the NFL season rushing record of 2,105 yards and says he is certain he can top 2,000 yards at least one more time in his career.
The 2,000-yard feat has been accomplished by only one other player in 67 years of NFL history.
"Of course, I can," said Dickerson. "I can definitely do it here because a lot of things you need to have going for you, I've got here. There's no doubt I've got at least another 2,000-yard season in this body, and there's no doubt I can go over 2,000 again at least once, maybe more, before I retire."
