Leonard and Alma Meyer, of Merrillville, have never seemed to make a big rush of things.
He is 91, and she will turn 91 in a couple of months. In June, they will observe their 68th wedding anniversary. They live in the house on Hendricks Street in which she was born, a house that has been kept up-to-date since being built in 1908.
