Kasey Kahne had the lead on a restart of last year's NASCAR Nextel Cup Series race at Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet when Tony Stewart got into the back of the No. 9 Dodge. Kahne crashed and finished 36th while Stewart went on to win the race.
When Chicagoland Speedway fans last saw Kasey Kahne, he was making laps in a wrecked Dodge and running near the back of the pack in a NASCAR Nextel Cup Series race.
Just prior to that, however, the rookie was in front and it looked like he may get his first Cup victory.
