Sargento has added Bistro Blends to its line of shredded cheeses. Herbs, spices and other ingredients are used to enhance the cheese, which is sold in a resealable package. The product is available in three varieties: Cheddar salsa with tomato and jalapeno peppers, mozzarella with sun-dried tomato and basil and mozzarella and asiago with roasted garlic. A 7- ounce bag of cheddar salsa with tomato and jalapeno sold for $3.25 at an area market.
