Senior John Arient, a 6-foot-2, 185 pounds, is a handful on either side of the ball for the Golden Eagles. Arient is a top linebacker and will also get his share of carries for the Golden Eagles.

Gone are graduated impact players Sam Shepherd, Matt Gandolfo, Joe Zimka, Dan Foote, Chris Nitz and Nick Teson -- several of the key ingredients that led the Golden Eagles back to the playoffs in 2004 after a four-year absence.
