CHANNAHON -- Classic Construction of Channahon defended its championship in the 23rd annual John Feeney Memorial Softball Tournament. Classic Construction finished 4-0, beating DeKalb Seed from Coal City 27-9 in the title game. Tony Giese, Sean Tudhope, Jeff Spisak and Bear Holt had 3 hits. Giese, Tudhope and Spisak homered. Al Wills had 2 hits with a homer for DeKalb Seed. Lonnie Henline and Jason Manietta had 2 hits. Paradise Motor Group/Young Guns took third place. Shaw's Farmer Insurance finished fourth.
