Deer have even been spotted at Hinkston Park, off Grand Avenue, in Waukegan, as these were one early winter.
More people, more cars and more deer add up to a deadly combination in Lake County where the number of deer-vehicle accidents continues to increase.
Adding to the dangers this fall and into early winter is that deer are mating, migrating and seeking food, particularly after the first frost. Also, weather-related driving conditions become worse and traffic increases during the holiday seasons.
