For a while, the Tracy family home in south Naperville was the only residence in town to display a banner with three blue stars, each star representing a family member on active military duty.
Now all three of the Tracy family's military men are home, and Tuesday they were honored outside Chicago's Daley Center as part of a 230th birthday celebration for the U.S. Army.
"If anybody's saying thank you for your service, on behalf of everybody who served, I want to say you're welcome," said Master Sgt. Bob Tracy of the Army Reserves 416th Engineer Command, based in Darien.
