Bears rookie Cedric Benson has been the center of attention lately, not for what he's done, but for what he hasn't done. Benson figures his playing time will increase, but he doesn't appear ready to unseat starter Thomas Jones anytime soon.

LAKE FOREST - Cedric Benson was wearing football spikes, but they might as well have been ruby red slippers. "I'm not in Kansas anymore," the Bears' first-round draft pick said Wednesday at Halas Hall. He's not at the University of Texas, either. Three games into his first season, Benson hasn't overcome the effects of a 36-day holdout enough to take the Bears' starting running back position held by Thomas Jones.
