Personal trainers in health clubs and fitness centers continues to be a fast-growing trend.
More than 70 percent of fitness clubs offer personal training packages to members, Dr. Cedric Bryant, chief exercise physiologist for the American Council on Exercise, wrote in a Chicago Tribune Career Builder column.
"It's a great revenue source for the business and a continual source of employment for those fitness professionals with the right credentials," he wrote.
As the fitness industry grows and evolves, so, too, does the personal trainer.
