Michael Flately is back in "Celtic Tiger."
Pyrotechnics, shimmying dancers, a 72-ton television screen.
Michael Flatley's newest passion, "Celtic Tiger," is a 180-degree pirouette from his mildly energizing "Riverdance" days of the early '90s.
But then, the "Lord of the Dance" prides himself on pushing the boundaries of dance, not to mention showmanship.
"Celtic Tiger" will pounce on Rosemont's Allstate Arena Friday.
Created, produced and directed by Flatley, the 90-minute show weaves the history and struggles of the Irish people into an art form.
"Celtic Tiger" is a phrase well known in Europe. It refers to Ireland's incredible economic success.
