Hannah Myles, who started showing signs of autism when she was 2 years old, uses the wall to help feel her way down the stairs in her Aurora home before preparing to go to school. "She's very sensitive to light," her mother Beth Ann says. For this reason, much of Hannah's world at home exists in semi-darkness.She draws the shades when she eats breakfast and prefers to keep the lights turned off, even when walking down the stairs.
After receivng an increase in her medication, it takes a little longer for Hannah to focus during her horseback-riding thearapy at Blazing Priaire Stars in Maple Park.
