Article: Anglers vie for boat package while helping needy

Last week I got a phone call from the organizer of a muskie tournament being held to benefit a very sick woman and her family.
"Mike, I was hoping you could once again help me," Gary Dew said.
He then told me of a one-day muskie tournament he is organizing March 18 at Kincaid Lake in southern Illinois. The entry cost is $120 per two-person team.
But unlike other muskie tournaments, this competition offers no cash or other prizes for the top finishers. Instead, the proceeds go to a family in need and contestants have a shot at winning a boat, motor and trailer.
