Article: Recital honors del Rosario's 40 years of teaching

Emilio del Rosario was 29 years old when Herbert Zipper invited him to begin teaching piano in Winnetka at the Music Center of the North Shore.

Del Rosario, who turned 70 this year, has been teaching for 40 years for the center, now called the Music Institute of Chicago. A recital celebrating his four decades of musical instruction will be held Sunday at Nichols Concert Hall, the institute's Evanston facility.
