Poll watcher credentials
Poll watcher credentials for qualified political organizations for the Nov. 2 general election are now available at the Lake County Clerk's office. All poll watchers are required to have credentials to observe a polling place.
Poll watchers may represent political parties, candidates, or organized opponents or proponents of ballot propositions. Requests for credentials must be submitted in writing and include the name and address of the organization or committee, as well as the name and address of the chairman. The statutory deadline for requesting credentials for the general election is Sept. 23.
