Article: Holy Cross High School graduates its final class

May 28 marked the final graduation ceremony in the 43-year history of Holy Cross High School, but the spirit of the school, officials told graduates, will live on.

The River Grove Catholic school for boys closes this month, and many of the undergraduates are transferring to Guerin Preparatory High School, formerly the all-girl Mother Guerin High School next door, according to Brother James Spooner, president and principal of Holy Cross.

The Holy Cross gymnasium was filled to overflowing as family and friends witnessed the final graduation.
