Rick Malnati may finally have figured out a way to end New Trier's woes at the free throw line.

"When it comes time to shoot free throws I'm going to have them stand back at the 3-point arc," the Trevian basketball coach says. "They seem more comfortable back there than they do at the free throw line."

Another failure at the free throw line probably won't do much for New Trier's collective body language.
