Microsoft's new video game console, the Xbox 360, was met with long lines of anxious gamers last week. With a limited launch supply and huge demand, some people went home disappointed. Each 360 unit is built around three 3.2-gigahertz processors running in triplicate. This means is that, in terms of raw data-processing power, the Xbox 360 is roughly three times more powerful than a fairly high-end personal computer.
