Most Lake County Board members have been issued county credit cards which will allow them to charge expenses relating to county business such as travel and constituent mailings and the county to monitor such expenses.
County staff issued the procurement cards to all interested county board members in January. The cards have a limit of $3,500 this year, although the limit can be increased to $4,500 with approval of the county's purchasing department.
