He's in his third professional season -- and he's on his third team. And Tyler Smith , a former 6-foot-8 center for Lake Forest High School, is loving every minute of it.
This season, the Penn State graduate is playing for Malvin, which is located in South America. And the Montevideo, Uruguay, team has started out well, winning two of its first three games in the LUB league.
In an 84-68 loss to Olympia, Smith scored 17 points and led his team in rebounds. He's one of two Americans on the squad -- the other being former Texas Tech star Curtis Marshall.
Smith knows how to adapt to different cultures. He also has played professionally in Italy and Holland.
