Article: New police station ready to open

Police Chief Raymond Rose has been anxiously waiting to move into Mundelein's new police station, and this month he'll finally get his wish.

"I can't wait to get in there. It's really, really exciting. It's another chapter in the history of the police department and the community," said Rose.

The police station construction, which started in late 2000, is near completion and the police department is hoping to begin the move into the new building next week.
