Article: Local woman helps ALS Music Mart

In one of the rooms in Linda DeAngleo's Highland Park home, the only piece of furniture is a lone poker table that stands in the middle.

What dominates the room are hundreds of vinyl records that grace the shelves around the room. DeAngleo gathered most of her record collection over the years, thanks to the Mammoth Music Mart for Lou Gehrig's Disease which is sponsored annually by the Les Turner ALS Foundation.

Music Mart will be held Oct. 5 through 14 at Old Orchard Center in Skokie.
