McHenry County is a lonely place for Crystal Lake's American Legion baseball team.
Lake In The Hills dropped its team this summer, leaving Crystal Lake as the only Legion club in the county. In recent years, teams from Woodstock, Richmond, McHenry also disbanded.
Bob Bacci, who formed the Crystal Lake Legion team 15 years ago, has kept the program strong by joining with the community baseball association.
