With every loss, Greg Maddux's value to another team declines.

Recently, the Chicago Tribune devoted several reporters and a photographer on a glowing profile of Greg Maddux for its Sunday magazine.
In the media business, allocating those kind of resources to a pitcher who was 1-4 in the month of May with a 7.29 ERA would be known as a swinging wildly and missing badly.
