Tim Zorich defined himself Saturday morning in Barrington.
And he didn't even need a dictionary.
"You saw me," said the 1998 Warren High School graduate, moments after his Blue Devils fell 5-3 to the hosts in a Barrington Sectional semifinal. "Right there, at the end of the game. I was in that on-deck circle, hoping like crazy that I'd get the chance to help my team win in the last inning. That's me. That's what I'm all about."
Barrington's Dan Pohlman fanned Warren's final batter, dousing Zorich's burning hope to win another game for the most successful baseball team in school history.
