Weeks before the first act of Ravinia Festival's 65th season ever takes the stage, the musical party begins with a Box-Office Opening Day celebration that has become a must-attend event in its own right.

Classical radio station WFMT will broadcast live from the grounds of Ravinia throughout Box Office Opening Day, which is set for May 27. Free performances and activities will make the event truly special.

The District 112 High School Orchestra will perform from 11-11:45 a.m. in Bennett Gordon Hall. Following them on stage will be the Buffalo Grove High School Jazz Band from 12:30-1 p.m., the Lakeview High School Jazz Band from 1:30-2 p.m. and the Ravinia Illumination Ensemble from 2:30-3 ...
