Article: Oak Park youth enjoys working for Cubs at Wrigley Field

Max Zemel-Mausner is both an enormous baseball fan and a lifetime supporter of the Chicago Cubs.

That makes Wrigley Field the ideal spot for the Oak Park-River Forest High School senior to be employed 81 days during the spring and summer months.

Zemel-Mausner said working at the Friendly Confines is a preferred summer job compared to working in a fast food restaurant, landscaping or painting houses where many high school students find employment.

"(The thrill of working for the Cubs) eventually wears off," said Zemel-Mausner, who gets paid a little more than minimum wage. "I treat it just like any other job.
