Buffalo Grove's boys gymnastics team placed 13th Friday night at the Wayne Whitmore Invitational at Mundelein.

Coach Dennis Mazur's troops put 120.45 points up on the board at a meet that featured four of the state's five teams.

Big meet. Tough meet.

Buffalo Grove senior Adam Feldman grabbed the team's lone individual medal, scoring a sixth-place 8.9 on vault. Two other teammates scored vaults in the 8s: John Verschelden (8.1) and Brett Robinson (8.0)

As the team's sole all-arounder, Feldman placed 23rd, with an average of 7.15 in the six events.
