Article: County gives lackluster approval to new logo

Lake County finally has a new logo, an eight-pointed snowflake-like design in green and blue, after the County Board Tuesday approved the new look.

They did so, however, without much enthusiasm.

Last month the County Board tabled consideration of a logo proposal that some thought looked too much like the Jewish Star of David, forcing the design company, Grady, Campbell, Inc., of Chicago, to go back to the drawing board for a new look.

Although the County Board approved the new design Tuesday, with only four voting no, few board members were excited about the logo.
