Grayslake Park District Board President Sharon Desjardins hinted Wednesday she is not totally in favor of the Village Board's offer of moving the Park District's headquarters into the soon-to-be-vacated Police Department.
The Village Board voted 6-0 Tuesday night to decline a rezoning bid by the Park District that would pave the way for it to move administrative offices to a vacant house at 109 Alleghany Road.
The move would have created more space for the Park District to run its preschool and other activities at the current two-story Jones Island headquarters.
