District 54 officials say an expanding job market is one reason several top administrators have accepted new positions in the past two years.
They also say other school districts are eager to recruit District 54's skilled administrators when they have openings.
Two weeks ago, Matthew Corby, the district's assistant superintendent for business services, announced his resignation to accept a position with Rockford School District 205. Corby is the district's fourth of six high-ranking administrators to resign their posts in two years.
