"Let Freedom Ring" is the theme of this year's Fourth of July celebration in Northbrook.
Events kick off on the Village Green with breakfast being served from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. Franz Jewelers is the sponsor of this event, which features pancakes, sausage, coffee, milk and juice. Fees are $3.50 for adults, $2.50 for seniors, $1.50 for children ages 6-12 and free for younger children.
From 9-11 a.m., relays, races and games of skill and chance will be featured at Village Green Park, Shermer and Meadow roads. Senior Citizen Club members will hold a craft and white elephant sale, and the Dooley Brothers band will perform in the gazebo.
