Article: Washington School sale discussed

River Forest School District 90 officials talked about setting a sale price for Washington School in a closed meeting Thursday.

The board's finance committee met in a special, closed door session with the district's attorney to discuss the issue, said Superintendent Tyra Manning.

The board is continuing to explore the matter, but has not decided whether to sell the parcel, Manning said.

The 3.5-acre parcel, at Washington Street and Thatcher Avenue, is leased to Alcuin Montessori School.
