As a student returning to college in the fall, Ashley Willner, Miss Lake County Fair 2006, is already thinking about her priorities for the upcoming school year--study hard and prepare for the Miss Illinois State Fair Queen pageant coming up in January.
Willner, 19, of Lake Villa, will be a sophomore at DePaul University in Chicago. Though majoring in finance while honing her interview skills, writing a pageant speech and shopping for the perfect gown may sound like a full plate, Willner has it covered and is confident she can multi-task just fine.
"My school is close, so I can come home (and work on the pageant). (And) I've always been a good student," she said.
