Article: Entrants sought for scholarship|HBAGC honors Scott Brown Memorial through Young Builders Council

The Home Builders Association Of Greater Chicago (HBAGC) is accepting applications for the 2006 Scott Brown Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship, administered by the HBAGC's Young Builders Council (YBC), was created more than a decade ago in remembrance of Scott Brown. Brown was the son of the late local building icon Richard J. Brown, founder of Cambridge Homes of Libertyville, a DR Horton company.

Up to three monetary awards will be distributed through the scholarship fund to students in northern Illinois. To be eligible, a student must be pursuing a higher education with aspirations of a career in residential real estate.
