Article: Lincoln Avenue plan gets cold business reception

The vision of Lincoln Avenue as a pedestrian-friendly necklace of low-density business neighborhoods chained together with lighter residentially-zoned housing was introduced to village residents and businesses last February by an enthusiastic Lincoln Avenue Task Force.

However, the zoning code transformation which village planners think is necessary to turn that vision into reality got a downright chilly reception last week from real estate developers, property owners and business tenants.
