Article: Mimi Sallis heads Brickyard Bank

The board of directors of Brickyard Bank, 6676 N. Lincoln Ave., Lincolnwood, announced Mimi Sallis, 37, has been elected president and chief executive officer. She was executive vice president and chief operating officer. She succeeds George L. Barr, who retired at year-end but remains a member of the bank's board.

Sallis, a Niles resident, began her banking career in 1991, as a bookkeeper with Devon Bank, Chicago. She was promoted to assistant bookkeeping supervisor four years later and in 1998 became compliance community reinvestment officer.
