Donley's Wild West Town in Union is the ideal family day trip.
So far, we've sent you to Galena and Cave of the Mounds. Let's bring it a little closer this week, although this trip will still take you far away.
How's that work?
Donley's Wild West Town, in Union, sends you to the dusty corrals of the old American West. The town offers a western museum, gold panning, pony rides and daily showdowns. Wild West Town will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Aug. 24, making it an ideal day trip for families with kids or for adults looking for a different sort of getaway.
