ALGONQUIN - Jacobs coach Dean Schlueter didn't hesitate to acknowledge that he was worried about a letdown Friday night as the Golden Eagles hosted struggling Woodstock in a Fox Valley Conference Valley Division game. Coming off a momentum-building victory over previously unbeaten Crystal Lake South, the Golden Eagles coach repeatedly warned his team throughout the week about looking past the Blue Streaks (1-6, 0-3).

"Yes, I was worried," said Schlueter, whose team plays McHenry next week. "We talked about it (letdown) a lot this week and I still don't think we were as intense this week (in practice). We still have a lot of growing yet to do."
