Salon owner raising money to fight MS
In conjunction with "MS Awareness Week," which ends Saturday, Finger's Nail Studios will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday to provide customers with manicures and healthy nail consultation, with all of the proceeds being raised to fight multiple sclerosis.
Nail technician and salon owner Shari Finger was diagnosed with MS in July 2005 and lives with the effects of this sometimes debilitating disease.
Finger and her staff have invited guest technicians from the Chicago area to join them for the "Manicure for MS" event.
