BOLINGBROOK - A Bolingbrook Police Department school resource officer remained hospitalized Tuesday night with a concussion, a broken leg and other injuries, after authorities said his squad car was deliberately rammed by a gunman fleeing an apartment complex in a sport utility vehicle.
Charges of attempted murder of a police officer, a weapons violation and possession of marijuana could be filed today by the Will County state's attorney's office against suspect Errol G. Williams, Bolingbrook police Lt. Tom Ross said Tuesday.
